We recognise that many of our Members, as well as partaking in recreational Country Sports, also use their skills part-time in a semi-professional capacity. To make sure these Members have adequate cover for any Professional Services they undertake, we have negotiated a tailor-made Professional Activities Insurance extension.
Members purchasing the Professional Activities Extension have access to two certificates of Membership: one for the standard (personal) recreational Country Sports Membership, and one specifying details of the Professional Activities Extension.

Each Member can choose up to 3 Professional Services to be covered under the Professional Activities Extension. The following list of Professional Activities has been agreed with the underwriters:
Shooting Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Deer Stalking Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Falconry / Bird Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Ferreting Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Fishing Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Catapult Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Re-Enactment, Living History and Live Action Role-Play Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Archery Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Axe Throwing Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Knife Throwing Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Javelin Throwing Instruction
Qualified Instructors training with an Instructor/student ratio on a 1 to 1 basis.
Bushcraft Instruction
Qualified Instructors taking groups with an Instructor/student ratio of 1 to 6 for Juniors and 1 to 12 for Adults.
Watercraft Instruction
Qualified Instructors taking groups with an Instructor/student ratio of 1 to 4 for Juniors and 1 to 6 for Adults. Excluding all white water.
Bee Keeping
Including swarm collection from 3rd party property, but excluding any work to property required to gain access — all building or other work to 3rd party property must be completed by an appropriately trained and insured tradesperson; once access is created the member may collect the swarm.
All Professional Activities are based on definitions in the Insured Activities list. Other professional services may be considered following a written application to Country Cover Club. This list may be added to or amended at any time at C³'s discretion.

£25,000 Professional Indemnity
Who This Cover Is For
The Professional Activities Extension is for Members who, on occasion, need to act in a professional capacity (e.g. give a lesson or participate in public displays) on a paid or voluntary basis, and micro-businesses within the Country Sports sector with up to £10,000 annual turnover. It is not suitable to indemnify full-time occupations or replace a full business insurance policy.
Eligibility Requirements
The Member confirms they are over 18, have a minimum of three years' experience and a suitable level of competence in their declared Insured Professional Service(s), and hold relevant Professional qualifications where applicable. Members agree to abide by legal and national governing body guidelines and to complete risk assessments where appropriate.
3rd Party Participants
Cover (PL and PI) applies to the Member only and does not extend to employees, assistants or helpers engaged by the Member. Where a 3rd-party participant is involved (e.g. during instruction) the insurance extends to cover their actions whilst under the direct supervision and instruction of the Member.
When Cover Applies
Cover operates whilst engaged in an Insured Professional Service, on a paid or otherwise basis, subject to full unrestricted permission having been granted beforehand at the location it will take place, and excluding whilst travelling to and from such locations.
Territorial Limits
Valid throughout the United Kingdom (incl. the Scilly Isles, Isle of Man and Channel Islands) and the Republic of Ireland. Travel Extensions do not apply to the Professional Activities Extension.
Excess
There is no excess (£0) to Members on any Professional Activities benefit.
Validity
Valid for the full term of each Country Cover Club Membership, subject to full payment of Membership fees being received prior to the commencement of Membership.

Terms & Conditions
Members do not have a direct 'Insured to Insurer/Underwriter' relationship with the underwriters of C³'s Master Policies. Claims must be made through C³, using current claim procedures, and will be processed as per the terms of the policies in effect on the date of the occurrence. C³ reserves the right to add, amend or remove Membership benefits at any time, without prior notice or consultation. All Insurance Benefits are underwritten by carefully selected specialist and leading UK Insurers in the Lloyds and London market, all of whom are fully UK Authorised and FCA regulated.
